North
Dakota State University,
WELCOME We extend a warm welcome to the 2013 North Midwest Section Conference of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE) in Fargo, North Dakota. In this conference you will have the opportunity to choose from 46 papers that will be offered in three parallel tracks on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013. If you arrived the day before, please take advantage of the technical tours we have arranged and our Thursday evening reception, because, most of all, we look forward to meeting old friends and making new ones as we share together our commitment of educating the next generation of engineers. If there is anything we can do to make your stay more enjoyable, don’t hesitate to ask.
PROCEEDINGS North Dakota State University (NDSU) College of Engineering is proud to have hosted the 2013 North Midwest Section Conference of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE). The conference had the privilege of having strong support of Dr. Gary Smith, the dean of College of Engineering, and enthusiastic contribution of time and energy from a committee of twenty faculty members along with significant help from other faculty. The North Midwest Section members have shown their share of support for this conference by submitting a large number of high quality papers. The review process was rigorous involving two peer reviewers and an editorial board. We think you will be pleased with the opportunity to access the accepted papers in this Proceedings.
Sincerely,
David A. Rogers, Ph.D. G. Padmanabhan, Ph.D. College of Engineering North Dakota State University Conference Co-chairs
